A file of letters from Mr Edward J Boyd Barrett SJ, Clongowes Wood College SJ to Irish Fr Provincial Thomas V Nolan SJ. Matters covered in these letters have to do with his writings, and the censorship of same by the Society before publication; the circumstances of and a request to assist his brother Mr Charles Boyd-Barrett; the setting up of the "Clongowes Social Work Club'. Included also is a letter of approval for one article from Fr Dominic Kelly SJ, who had acted as one of the censors. Mr Edward J Boyd Barrett was a scholastic on Regency at Clongowes Wood College SJ during this period of the letters.

It contains very little about Hopkins, though this is of some interest.”
